I came across a review of this book while reading Arthur Hardy's Mardi Gras Guide this year . Though this a year without parades I know you all have vivid memories of previous year's parades and the fun marching krewes that have sprung up over the years. From the 610 Stompers in their satiny gym shorts to The Rolling Elvi and every permutation in between . With a bit of background on each group and big vivid full color photos this book catches a bit of the crazy all out vibe that will be sadly missed this season but I am sure will come back twice as strong as we all crave a bit of fun when we return. And it's fun to flip through the pages and see if any of your friends were captured on film!
