Chatting Books Online Day 291. Today's recommended book is "Bugs on the Rug" which is written and illustrated by Johnette Downing.
This board book is a fun , rhyming, book about some mischievous Bugs doing everything from flying around, to hanging out in your soup, and of course snuggling up on the rug. Like several of Johnette Downing's book this one is illustrated with her felt and foam collage art and so the bugs look like they could actually jump right off the page! Also like several of the multi-talented Johnette Downing's book she also sings this one and you can google her recordings f=of it and learn the song to sing along - very catchy!!!
