Chatting Books Online Day 275. Today's recommended Christmas book is "Tu-Tu's Christmas on the Bayou" from The Adventures of The Swamp Kids by Leif Nedland Pedersen.
When TuTu realizes they have never had an "official" Christmas Tree on the bayou he sets out to go to town and buy a traditional Christmas tree from a tree lot only by the time he drags it all the way back to the bayou it has lost all of its needles. As you might imagine through love, singing and the magic of Christmas it all works out beautifully in the end .
As with all of The Swamp Kids books this one also has a Lagniappe Lesson included at the end of the book. In this one you can learn how to wish someone a Merry Christmas in 16 different languages.
